I am now in my late twenties and have never really had anything good in my life. I have basically been jumping from one job to another, I think the reason behind this is simply due down to the fact that I have never really known what to do with my life.

This all changed when I started looking through a spa hotels brochure, after days of sifting through brochures I made the decision to book up a well deserved break for myself. When the day arrived I made my way to the airport as I did not book this trip in the UK, it was in fact the Malaysia spa holidays that you see advertised all over.

When I first arrived the destination was something that I had never seen before, truly amazing. For the first few days I relaxed down by the pool, with various massages and treatments. But then I started to get a bit bored, there was only so much you could do on a daily basis. I started looking at other people and they were forever reading books, but my imagination. Was a lot larger then that.

Instead of actually reading I took the time out and started writing my own stories, it put me into a zone I had never been before. For the rest of the trip I continued to write my first ever book and by the time I got back home it was complete.

Since that trip I have constantly been writing new stories and I am now earning a healthy living from something that I love doing. In some ways it's a bit funny because I am making much more money then people doing hard work such as labouring for something that I am truly passionate about.

It is not a good idea to buy Rosetta Stone if you are planning on being a fluent spanish speaker. The software does not provide the grammar and vocabulary that is necessary to properly learn the spanish language. Rosetta Stone can get you started with learning spanish, but it doesn’t do the full job.

With Rocket Spanish, you will be able to learn spanish in less than eight weeks. If you want to be fluent in spanish, then it will happen. Rocket Spanish has been seen as a very fun program to use, while many see Rosetta Stone somewhat boring. In conclusion, I highly recommend Rocket Spanish to anyone that needs to learn spanish as soon as possible.

You can eliminate many of the complications of learning to speak Mandarin with using English phonics. Native English speakers no longer need to trudge through the old fashioned and ineffective Wade-Giles method, or struggle with the current, but just as difficult Pinyin Chinese to speak Mandarin. This is a simpler method! Words and phrases can be sounded out exactly the same way we learned to read and speak English in grade school.

Prior to the use of Pinyin, westerners depended upon the Wade-Giles Romanization system that was initially invented to simplify Chinese characters into their English counterparts. The method was created by British scholar Sir Thomas Francis Wade, and it was later modified by Herbert Allen Giles in 1912, and it became the preferred transliteration method among scholars. But what it really gave the western world was a systematic and consistent method of butchering the Chinese language through mispronunciations for more than a half century. Why did it fail so woefully? Learners of Mandarin relied upon the pronunciation guide, but were seldom educated properly on how the system worked. Inevitably, most words were grossly mispronounced.

Other attempts were made to integrate a Latin alphabet for the Mandarin language during the 1920′s and 30′s, but the majority were unsuccessful. Finally, the Pinyin Romanization system officially replaced the Wade-Giles method in 1985. The Chinese government’s commitment to promote a standardized Latin alphabet for westerner and the country’s minorities promoted the adoption of Pinyin Putonghua, and it is used extensively throughout the country.

Unfortunately, native English speakers who study Mandarin quickly discover that many of the vowels and consonants used in Pinyin are pronounced differently than their English counterparts. This means that English speakers, who have been trained since primary school to sound out words phonetically, first need to learning Chinese via Pinyin in order to speak correctly and clearly in Chinese.

The good news is that there is an easier and faster way of learning Chinese. With the familiar English phonics system,native English speakers can by-pass Pinyin and immediately concentrate on reading and speaking Chinese. For instance, the Chinese word for ‘next’, when written in Pinyin is: xia yi ge. By English phonetics, you would say: shee-ah ee guh. Congratulations! You have just pronounced the word correctly! As you know,if you are looking for a simple and effective method to speak Chinese,the English phonetic system makes the learning process an easily attainable goal.
